Guitar Workshops in Schools across South Yorkshire
Our workshops have been developed in order to avoid complacency within lessons by teaching fun and exciting material.
Our lessons combine skills such as student interaction and modern themed criteria which students may already be familiar with – such as current pop hits and soundtracks from hit movies such as ‘Frozen’.
Our material is constantly updated to keep lessons fun and to avoid archaic texts currently in use by music services.
A big part of our ethos is to teach in small groups (3 or 4). We like to do this because we believe it encourages the development of social skills and team bonding.
We also find that giving students the option of doing group lessons makes guitar tuition affordable for all students, inclusively.
All our teachers are professional tutors based in Sheffield and Rotherham. Currently we teach across several schools and we are looking to increase our teaching hours.
Schools we work with include Harmony Music School, Anne Sheehan Music School, Take 2 Music Centre, Hatfield Academy and Brunswick Primary School. Aside from schools we also teach NHS patients at Wathwood Hospital.
We have a vast amount of experience and qualifications up to degree level and Grade 8 in our respective instruments. We teach all variations of Guitar including Classical, Acoustic, Electric and Bass.
